Our Editorial Mission

YesNoWheelApp exists to help people make decisions with less stress. Every piece of content we publish — from tool explanations to psychology guides — is written with one goal: to be genuinely useful to the person reading it.

We do not publish content to fill pages, inflate word counts, or manipulate search rankings. If a topic does not provide real value to our readers, we do not cover it.

Who Creates Our Content

YesNoWheelApp is an independently developed project with a single person behind it — no editorial team, no ghostwriters. The founder builds and maintains every interactive tool on the site directly (you can verify this by using them — there is no third-party widget or embed behind any tool), and personally researches, drafts, and reviews every article before it publishes. Psychology and decision-science content is grounded in the process described below — cited sources checked against the original research, not just repeated from other articles — rather than in a claimed personal credential.

AI writing tools are used to assist with drafting and research. All AI-assisted content is reviewed, edited, and verified by the founder before publication. We never publish raw AI output without human oversight. See our AI Content Policy for full details.

Content Creation Process

Every piece of content goes through the following stages before publication:

1. Topic selection: Topics are chosen based on genuine user need — questions our audience asks, decisions they face, and educational gaps we can fill.
2. Research: The topic is researched using credible sources, psychology literature, and practical experience. We cite sources where applicable.
3. Drafting: A draft is written with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and practical value. AI tools may assist with structure and phrasing during this stage.
4. Editorial review: The draft is reviewed for accuracy, completeness, tone, and helpfulness. Generic or filler content is removed.
5. Fact-checking: Any factual claims, statistics, or research citations are verified against original sources before publication.
6. Publication: The final article is published with a clear publication date and author attribution.

Content Standards

All content published on YesNoWheelApp must meet the following standards:

• Accuracy: Factual claims must be verifiable. We do not publish speculation as fact.
• Originality: Content must offer genuine insight, not simply repeat what is available elsewhere. Every article should contain unique explanations, examples, or perspectives.
• Helpfulness: Content must provide tangible value to the reader. We ask: "Would a person be better off after reading this?" If not, the content is revised.
• Clarity: We write in plain, direct language. Jargon is explained. Complex ideas are illustrated with real-world examples.
• Relevance: Content stays on-topic. We do not publish off-topic material to inflate page count.
• Transparency: We disclose when AI tools assist in content creation. We disclose our revenue model (advertising). We do not hide conflicts of interest.

Content Updates & Freshness

The field of decision-making psychology evolves, and so does our content. We review and update existing articles on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and relevance. All pages display a "Last Updated" date so readers can assess freshness.

When we make substantive changes to an article — not just fixing typos but changing factual content — we update the modification date and note the nature of the change where appropriate.

Corrections

We are committed to correcting errors promptly and transparently. If you find an inaccuracy in any of our content, please contact us via our Contact page.

We aim to investigate and resolve reported errors within 48 hours. For significant corrections, we add a correction note to the affected article explaining what was changed and why. See our full Corrections Policy.

Advertising Disclosure

YesNoWheelApp is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. Advertisements are clearly separated from editorial content. There is no commercial relationship with advertisers, and advertising revenue does not influence what we write or how we evaluate topics.

All tools on the platform are free. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage or favorable reviews.

Linking Policy

We link to external sources when they provide additional value to the reader — academic papers, authoritative references, or relevant tools. We do not sell links or accept payment for external links. All external links are included on editorial merit alone.
